ABOUT THE AUTHOR :
Marilyn Reid was born in Scotland and has been writing since childhood. The traditional stories of Scotland, custom and belief, and what makes people tick are central to her writing. All of her books are carefully researched. After an extensive career in performing arts as a Writer/Director, Marilyn hosted hundreds of drama workshops including tutoring tutors and working with hundreds of children. She used drama techniques to help teachers in classrooms around Scotland make learning fun.
Marilyn’s plays, for adults and young actors, are currently being made ready for publication. These days, Marilyn helps new writers to learn their craft through writing workshops, passing on tips from her experiences.
