Saving a school from an evil mind-control plot probably sounds like a job for trained secret agents, brilliant scientists or superheroes with extraordinary powers.

Then there is Lola Grace.
Lola is bold, tough, energetic and always ready for action. She turns lunch trays into shields, approaches danger like it is another challenge to conquer and refuses to back down when things get messy. Her bravery gives the group momentum when hesitation could cost them precious time.
Lola also brings along Iggy, her hamster. Tiny though he may be, Iggy proves surprisingly useful during the group’s increasingly dangerous mission. In a story filled with oversized ladles, contaminated food, freezer escapes and lunch zombies, even the smallest team member gets a chance to make a difference.
Of course, no introduction to this team would be complete without Farticus.
Harrison’s French bulldog is stubborn, loyal, suspicious of nearly everything and capable of producing smells strong enough to clear a room. At first, his flatulence seems like nothing more than one of the book’s funniest running jokes. But as the adventure unfolds, Farticus becomes an unexpected weapon against the strange forces threatening the school.
Together, this bizarre crew sneaks into the cafeteria, investigates the mysterious “secret sauce,” discovers the sinister organization S.N.O.R.E., escapes dangerous situations and eventually faces students transformed into obedient lunch zombies.
